Brighton Stun Everton With Thrilling 3 2 Win

Brighton stunned Everton with an incredible 3-2 win at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

The Seagulls, who had won just one of their past seven league games, took an early lead through Glenn Murray but saw their advantage cancelled out by a Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty.

Everton then took the lead through Theo Walcott before Anthony Knockaert equalised shortly after the interval. The game was then settled in the 79th minute when Jurgen Locadia slotted home a late winner to seal the three points for Brighton.

The result puts Brighton in 15th place in the Premier League table, seven points clear of the relegation zone, while Everton remain in 8th place, three points outside the top six.

It was a thrilling game between two sides who were showing the importance of the three points on offer. Brighton, who had been struggling for form, showed incredible spirit and determination to come from behind and secure the win.

The result could prove to be a huge boost for Brighton as they look to secure their Premier League survival for another season.
