In response to an increase in vaping-related illnesses, Victoria, Australia recently implemented a ban on the sale of all nicotine-containing vaping products. The state has now taken the next step in enforcing this ban by fining any businesses that violate the law. As of October 2019, 12 fines were issued to individuals and businesses who had failed to comply. The fines range from $1,652 to $3,302 and are meant to act as a deterrent for anyone considering breaking the law.
